The Central Bank and the National Monetary Council opened Public Consultation 131/2026 on a joint draft resolution covering the distribution of CDBs and other funding products, Microanalysis reports.
The proposed start date is January 1, 2028, with existing contracts adapted by June 30, 2028. The text is not yet in force.
Why it mattersBanks and investment platforms selling these products in Brazil have time to comment before the rules are final.
